Ignore the sceptics, going to university is still well worth it

One of the reasons President Trump is back in office is his extraordinary appeal to a key electoral group — “I love the poorly educated”. It could be one of the most high-minded things he has ever said. There is no reason for people with higher education to regard themselves as superior to everyone else. But if such sentiments become the basis for trying to discourage people from getting more education then it is bad for them, and bad for the economy.
